A while back we showed you spyshots of the Audi R4. The vehicle turned out to be a test mule for Audi’s new Quattro. Autocar states that a R5 is planned for 2014. Audi plans a position inbetween the TT-RS and the R8 supercar.
The R5 will be a two-seater and with a length of just 3,933mm, a bit longer than the Lotus Exige. The R5 wil be based on the E-Tron coupé and spyder and released in both versions. Under the hood you will find petrol or diesel engines instead of an electric powered source. The top of the range engine will be the five-cylinder 2.5 liter turbo from the TT-RS, producing 350bhp.
Audi has a median between its alter egos
beautifull car.
