The brand new 2013 Porsche Boxster S, codenamed 981, was spotted on local roads in Stuttgart. YouTube member DrGumoLunatic filmed the sports car parked at a gas station.
The open-top two-seater car received an entirely new lightweight body and a completely revamped chassis. The new Boxster S weighs less than the previous generation and rides on a longer wheelbase and a wider track. These new dimensions are coupled with larger wheels and a new electromechanical power steering system.
The Boxster S is powered by flat-six engines with direct fuel injection, the efficiency of which is further enhanced by electrical system recuperation, thermal management and start/stop function. For more information on the new Boxster click here.
