The Goodwood Festival of Speed has long been known as the best supercar event in the United Kingdom and coming home in a close second would have to be the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power which will celebrate its sixth anniversary next year. The performance exhibition has just been scheduled for June 14th-16th, 2013 at the Cholmondeley estate in Chesire.
Organisers of the event are promising that it will be bigger and better than ever, with a large selection of supercars, rally and race cars set to go on display with a selection of other notable activities taking place, namely the noise-off battles.
‘Noise’ is set to be a key theme of the 2013 Cholmondeley Pageant of Power where a selection of supercars will face off in revving battles, with both modern and classic exotics taking part. Every ticket purchased before April next year, will receive a free pair of earplugs as organisers are expecting these battles to be ear-piercingly loud!
James Hall, the event director of the Pageant said;
The Pageant has firmly established a reputation as a must-attend event and we’ve witnessed growing numbers every year since its inception. With such a large and varied collection of machinery on show for crowds this year, attendees will be hard-pressed to find a more evocative range of sights and sounds anywhere in the UK.
