Lotus Escapes Near Death of Liquidation

Lotus Festivals

The Lotus Group which comprises of the Lotus Cars, Lotus Motorsports and Lotus Engineering was placed on the High Court Winding Up list earlier this week. It sparked fears that the embattled British company could face court ordered liquidation. Lotus were quick to react with a press release, explaining that the hearing was scheduled, however, an agreement with the supplier involved was reached outside of court.

As of right now, the Lotus Group is safe. As if Lotus didn’t already have enough on its plate to deal with after the Dany Bahar saga. Lotus also recently announced a recall of all Lotus Exige and Lotus Elise models produced from December 1, 2006 to October 31, 2007 due to an oil leak problem.
