Official: 2012 Aston Martin DBS Volante Summerheat by Wheelsandmore

Wheelsandmore is no novice when it comes to tuning the Aston Martin DBS, after releasing their Aston Martin DBS Carbon Edition late last year. The tuner’s latest project involves essentially the same modifications only this time performed on the Aston Martin DBS Volante, thus creating the 2012 Aston Martin DBS Volante Summerheat by Wheelsandmore.

From a visual standpoint, the Aston Martin DBS Volante Summerheat by Wheelsandmore features 6Sporz² wheels. These handmade forged wheels feature matte black faces, outer rim and spokes. The wheels measure 9.5×21 inches at the front axle with 265/30 Continental Sport Contact 5P tires and 12×21 inch wheels at the rear with 325/25/21 Continental Sport Contact 5P tyres.

The Aston Martin DBS Volante Summerheat by Wheelsandmore has then received a suspension upgrade via custom-built lowering springs. These drop the overall ride height of the DBS Volante by 35mm. Under the hood, the Aston Martin DBS Volante Summerheat by Wheelsandmore features the same engine modifications as the original DBS Carbon Black.

The Wheelsandmore CRP Kit adds an extra 40hp to the 510hp standard figure and an extra 90Nm from the 6.0-liter V12 engine. That results in a total power output of 550hp and 488lb-ft of torque driving the rear wheels. Those performance gains have been achieved through a cat-replacement kit, F1 airfilter-kit as well as a valve-controlled exhaust system.
