Official: 2013 McLaren 12C Spider British Open by Wheelsandmore

Wheelsandmore recently revealed their tuning program for the McLaren 12C Spider but apparently the tuner was finished with the McLaren 12C Spider with just that one program. As a result, Wheelsandmore has just released its latest program dubbed the ‘British Open’ which incorporates a selection of visual and performance changes compared to the stock McLaren 12C Spider.

The most apparent visual change are the new forged 6Sporz² wheels measuring 20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the rear. These wheels are then wrapped in Continental Sport Contact 5P rubber. This particular unit features a gloss black paint job, and bright orange brake calipers and an orange interior. Just like their previous tuning package for the McLaren 12C Spider, the McLaren 12C Spider British Open by Wheelsandmore features some potent engine modifications.

Thanks to upgrades to the 12C’s ECU, and the fitment of a new exhaust system with remote-control butterfly valve system, the McLaren 12C Spider British Open by Wheelsandmore deliveries an impressive 700hp and 479lb-ft torque. That’s a significant improvement over the 616hp and 442lb-ft of torque of the standard McLaren 12C and McLaren 12C Spider. Consequently, the McLaren 12C Spider British Open by Wheelsandmore should hit 100km/h in 3 seconds or less, before topping out a top speed of 210mph.
