The special BMW M4 Coupe created by BMW Individual made its debut this past weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014. Created as the first ‘special edition’ of the new M4 Coupe, the car was built specifically for the event with the help of Piston Heads.

One of the most unique aspects of the BMW Individual M4 Coupe is its paint job. It is finished in a stunning shade of dark blue dubbed Tanzanite Blue which adds an extra sporty and luxurious feel to the potent German sports car.

Elsewhere, the car features a new carbon fibre front splitter and air intake surrounds with the rear diffuser and small bootlid lip spoiler also made from lightweight carbon fibre. Finally, the BMW Individual M4 Coupe features Merino leather seats with an Alcantara finished steering wheel.

Mechanically, the car is identical the standard M4. As a result, it features the same potent 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine delivering 425 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. Consequently, the new model which weighs less than a comparatively equipped BMW E92 M3 Coupe, can hit 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds before topping out at 280 km/h with the M Driver’s Package. Without this driver focused package, the electronically limited 250 km/h top speed is still quite impressive.
