While the life of the much-loved Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is coming to an end, the Japanese sedan has already cemented a place in automotive history. All Evos to hit roads around the world are excitingly potent and with this in mind, tuners around the world are very keen on modifying the Evo and this particular example is actually the world’s quickest down the quarter mile.

While specific power and torque figures about this particular Evo aren’t known, it did set a very impressive 8.09 second quarter mile. That’s despite the fact that it was squirrelling all over the road and is fitted with a manual transmission!
